Job summary

Miral Experiences in Abu Dhabi is seeking a friendly Retail Associate to drive smooth operations in our branded merchandise shop, greet guests, assist with purchases, and maintain stock levels.

You'll handle the computerized cash register, process multiple currencies, ensure displays are neat and labeled, participate in inventory, and support promotions while delivering exceptional guest service in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Higher secondary or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-year operational experience in guest or customer service setting.
• English proficiency (spoken & written).
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability and genuine willingness to entertain/engage guests.
• Flexibility.
• High levels of respect and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and welcoming guests in a warm and friendly manner.
• Approaching guests and initiating proactive communication.
• Assisting and advising guests to make purchases by recommending, describing and demonstrating products.
• Efficiently operate the computerized cash register (barcode scanners, calculators, credit card machines).
• Process money tendered transactions in different currencies, vouchers, stored value cards, and credit card payments.
• Arrange and maintain product displays; refill stock shelves and take product inventory.
• Apply product knowledge while interacting with guests and continuously improve service.
• Work on promotions and help achieve sales targets.
• Handle basic guest complaints on the spot and resolve where possible.
• Ensure clean and safe store environment and properly labeled products per brand standards.
• Assist in quarterly and yearly inventory.
• Perform other tasks as needed to meet business needs.
• Be medically able to work in all weather conditions; physically capable to lift items and climb ladders.

About The Role

We are looking for a friendly and customer-focused Retail Associate to join our team.

The role is responsible to ensure a smooth and efficient operation in the retail department in relation to the company core process thus, directly impacting on the delivery of the experience.

The position sells branded merchandise, souvenirs and photo products to guests by using a computerized cash register.

Ensures the store is well stocked and clean. Assists guests with queries. Assists and advises guests using variety of selling skills, product knowledge and demonstrating service enhancing behavior.

Job Scope:

• Greeting / welcoming the guests in a warm and friendly manner.
• Approaching the guest and starting proactive communication.
• Assisting and advising guests to make purchases by recommending, describing and demonstrating products.
• Efficiently handle computerized cash register that involves barcode scanners, calculators, credit card machines.
• Collect and process money tendered transactions of different currencies, vouchers, stored value cards, and credit card payments.
• Arranging and maintaining product displays with approval, stock shelves (refill) and take product inventory.
• Applying product knowledge while handling guests and improve the same on a regular basis.
• Working on promotions and achieving set targets.
• Handling basic guest complaints on the spot.
• Ensuring clean and safe environment.
• Ensuring all products displayed are properly displayed and labeled as per our brand standards.
• Assisting in quarterly and yearly inventory.
• Any other tasks that may be required from time to time to perform to meet the needs of the business.
• Medically able to work in all weather conditions.
• Physical able to carry/lift items, climb ladder etc.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
