Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Retail Assistant Manager at The View at the Palm, part of Dubai Holding Entertainment In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

The Retail Assistant Manager is tasked with overseeing daily retail and concession operations, ensuring optimal guest experiences, and driving sales. This role emphasizes adherence to The View’s standards, staff training, and participation in the Duty Manager Program.

Key Accountabilities:

• Oversee and update all areas with current product information, pricing, and offers.
• Manage concessions kiosk(s) to ensure an inviting atmosphere for guests.
• Participate in the setup and maintenance of the “Retail POS” system.
• Review and provide feedback on pre-opening designs and shop operations.
• Develop and implement departmental SOPs and policies.
• Create daily operating plans for Retail and Concessions.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and management of the sales team.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external safety standards.
• Manage supplier relationships and stay abreast of industry trends.
• Efficiently manage OS&E (bags, tags, etc.).
• Provide regular updates to management on sales and retail trends.
• Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Management Team.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Experience:

• 5+ years in a relevant field.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.

Skills:

• Sales, customer service, and inventory management. Experience in Attractions/Theme parks pre-opening preferred.
• Proven track record of planning, managing, and delivering projects.
