Job summary

Hilton is seeking a Restaurant Reservations Agent to brighten guests' dining experiences. You will manage reservations across phone, email, and other channels, recording guest details and special requests while delivering warm, professional service.

You will collaborate with restaurant teams to communicate VIPs, dietary needs, and preferences, optimize bookings, maintain accurate records, and handle guest feedback with discretion.

• Manage restaurant reservations: handle requests, bookings, cancellations and amendments; keep accurate records.
• Provide exceptional guest service: respond professionally, share menu and time information, assist with suitable reservations.
• Coordinate with restaurant teams: communicate VIPs, dietary needs and guest preferences.
• Maximize restaurant opportunities: monitor availability, optimize bookings and support revenue goals.
• Maintain accurate records: update reservation system, diaries, waitlists, cancellations and no-shows.
• Handle guest requests and concerns: follow up and resolve with professionalism.
• Maintain service standards: follow SOPs for reservations and guest communication.
• Ensure compliance and professionalism: adhere to policies and safety regulations.

As a Restaurant Reservations Agent, you’re not just managing bookings and guest inquiries – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by creating memorable dining experiences for every guest.

Responsibilities

Heres what youll do during a typical day:

• Manage restaurant reservations: Handle reservation requests, bookings, cancellations, and amendments through telephone, email, and other reservation channels. Maintain accurate booking records and ensure all guest details and special requests are properly recorded.
• Provide exceptional guest service: Respond to guest inquiries professionally and efficiently, provide accurate information about restaurants, menus, opening hours, promotions, and special dining experiences, and assist guests in making the most suitable reservations.
• Coordinate with restaurant teams: Communicate reservation details, special requests, VIP information, dietary requirements, and guest preferences to the relevant restaurant teams to ensure a seamless dining experience.
• Maximize restaurant opportunities: Monitor table availability and reservation patterns, optimize bookings in line with restaurant capacity, and support the team in maximizing table utilization and revenue opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records: Ensure the reservation system, booking diary, guest profiles, and waitlists are updated accurately and in a timely manner, including all cancellations, no-shows, and amendments.
• Handle guest requests and concerns: Manage guest feedback, special occasions, and reservation-related concerns with professionalism, ensuring appropriate follow-up and resolution while maintaining the highest standards of guest satisfaction.
• Maintain service standards: Follow established standard operating procedures for reservations, telephone etiquette, guest communication, and team coordination to ensure a consistent and high-quality experience.
• Ensure compliance and professionalism: Adhere to hotel policies, licensing requirements, and health, safety, and fire regulations while maintaining a professional and organized reservations environment.
