The Lana, Dubai – Dorchester Collection is seeking a Restaurant Reservations Agent to enhance guest experiences across our acclaimed F&B outlets. You’ll handle enquiries by email and phone, secure bookings, and provide informed recommendations to guests.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest inquiries by email or phone to secure and confirm reservations.
• Participate in daily briefings to stay informed about hotel happenings.
• Know the F&B outlets to cross-sell and maximise reservations and revenue.
• Ensure service standards and department cleanliness are maintained.
• Coordinate with outlet teams about special events and guest chefs.
• Collaborate with outlet managers to optimize reservations and guest satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• You will take an integral part in the day to day operations of the F&B department to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
• You will be in charge of responding to guest enquiries by email or telephone in order to effectively secure, create and confirm a restaurant reservation for all of the outlets in the hotel.
• By taking part in a daily team briefing, you ensure you are well informed of the daily happenings around the hotel as well as the upcoming days in the F&B department.
• You will have a strong overall understanding of the offerings in the F&B outlets so you are able to sell the outlets and all the available options in F&B, this will help converting enquiries into reservations which will assist in the outlets achieving their targets
• Serving others is your passion, you will ensuring the department is in immaculate condition and all service, telephone and communication standards are adhered to by the supporting team members.
• You will also communicate effectively with the various outlet teams ensuring the teams are aware of upcoming special reservations, special events and guest chefs/bartenders ensuring the team’s knowledge is second to none and they are able to assist our guests in the best possible way and help with cross selling other outlets.

• You are aware of revenue targets and proactively help the outlets to ensure these are achieved and exceeded
• During your daily routine, you liaise with other departments when required to ensure an immaculate presentation of your outlet and high standards of cleanliness as well as maintenance are upheld at all times including restaurant furniture, equipment, floors, fixtures and fittings.
• Together with the outlet managers and hostesses, you ensure the restaurant reservations are optimized to ensure well-controlled productivity, optimal guest satisfaction and optimized revenue generation whilst cross selling other hotel outlets to existing guests.

• English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language. Other languages including Arabic, Italian, French, Spanish or German are highly desirable.
