Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager in a high-volume establishment.
• Excellent interpersonal communication.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of local health department regulations regarding sanitation, safety, etc.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be able to work nights/weekends/holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staffing, ordering supplies and inventory, budgeting, scheduling shifts and overseeing other operational tasks.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service.
• Ensure proper maintenance of all kitchen equipment and facilities.
• Supervise the preparation of meals according to established recipes.
• Work closely with chefs to create new menu items and specials.
• Develop new marketing strategies to promote the restaurant’s offerings.
• Track financial performance and control costs such as payroll expenses.
• Establish strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Comply with all health department regulations.
