The Candidate

We seek a driven self-starter with excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. What We're Looking For

  • At least 3 years of experience as an Assistant or Restaurant Manager in a luxury hotel, preferably with Japanese cuisine expertise.
  • Knowledge of Japanese culture, dining etiquette, and a passion for immersive dining experiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and restaurant management software.
  • Understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Proven ability to meet financial targets, manage budgets, and control costs.
  • Energetic, welcoming personality with a polished appearance adhering to FIVE standards.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ownership of responsibilities.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction, profitability, and industry standards.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • People-oriented leadership with a proactive, hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure seamless dining operations, anticipate guest needs, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Oversee ambiance, decor, and environment to create an authentic Japanese dining experience.
  • Develop and implement SOPs, manage inventory, and maintain health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with culinary teams to craft and refine menus, monitor performance, and adjust strategies for profitability.
  • Manage financials, analyze reports, and implement cost-control measures.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate staff to uphold service excellence and team cohesion.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and continuously innovate the guest experience.
