Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Restaurant Manager in an Indian cuisine restaurant.
• Excellent communication in English (knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is a plus).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Good understanding of food costs, labor costs, P&L statements, and other financial aspects of running a restaurant.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the restaurant, including staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
• Ensure excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing any customer concerns or complaints promptly
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain appropriate stock levels
• Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared according to recipe and quality standards
• Supervise the cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant at all times
• Handle financial management tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new menu items or make changes to existing ones based on customer feedback
