Job summary

One&Only Resorts in Dubai is seeking a dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead the F&B team at One&Only The Palm. You will oversee daily operations, drive service excellence, and ensure memorable dining experiences for every guest.

With 3–5 years of upscale hospitality experience, you will mentor staff, maintain high standards of quality and profitability, and foster guest satisfaction through exceptional leadership and guest relations. English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in Restaurant Manager role in upscale hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of F&B operations and service standards.
• Excellent English; second language preferred.

Responsibilities

As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional service standards and memorable dining experiences for every guest. You will lead, motivate, and develop the restaurant team, manage daily operations, and drive service excellence while adhering to our company’s core values. This role involves supervising service delivery, managing staffing and operational requirements, monitoring financial performance, coordinating special events, and ensuring the restaurant operates efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality, guest satisfaction, and profitability.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, always ensuring exceptional service standards and a seamless guest experience.
• Lead, motivate, train, and develop the restaurant team to achieve operational excellence and maintain company standards.
• Monitor service delivery and ensure all guests receive personalized and attentive service.
• Manage restaurant reservations, seating capacity, and table allocations to optimize service flow and guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally, ensuring timely resolution and service recovery when required.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of menu offerings, beverage selections, promotions, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen, bar, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
• Monitor staffing levels, scheduling, and productivity to meet operational requirements and business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, hygiene standards, and grooming requirements.
• Support revenue generation initiatives by driving sales, maximizing guest satisfaction, and identifying opportunities to improve performance.
• Assist in planning and executing special events, group bookings, and VIP experiences.
• Monitor restaurant expenses and support the achievement of financial and profitability targets.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance throughout the restaurant.
• Act as an ambassador for the restaurant and the One&Only brand, fostering strong relationships with guests and colleagues.

A suitable candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in a Restaurant Manager role within an upscale 5-star hotel, resort, or fine dining environment. Strong knowledge of food & beverage operations, service standards, team leadership, and restaurant management is essential. The candidate should possess excellent personal presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a high-profile and diverse clientele. Must be a dynamic leader with a proven track record of driving guest satisfaction, developing high-performing teams, and delivering exceptional operational results. Excellent communication skills in English are required, and proficiency in an additional language will be highly regarded.
