About The Job

Based at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi, within the Food & Beverage Department, the Restaurant Manager will oversee all operational, administrative, and financial aspects of the Broadway restaurant. The role reports to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee all operational and administrative aspects of the restaurant, prioritizing tasks based on business needs.
2. Ensure all operational standards, policies, SOPs, and quality measures are consistently met.
3. Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine to plan menus, pricing, and promotional events to maximize revenue.
4. Identify areas for service and food quality improvements through audits and guest feedback, and develop action plans.
5. Plan effectively for manpower, equipment, and supplies based on business forecasts.
6. Organize promotional activities and festive season events.
7. Comply with local laws regarding alcohol service and licensing.
8. Maintain POS system accuracy and oversee financial analysis of the outlet’s performance.
9. Provide leadership and support to restaurant staff.
10. Promote effective inter-departmental communication to foster teamwork.

Qualifications & Expectations

• Minimum two years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in a luxury property; resort experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management preferred.
• Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of sanitation standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
