Job description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager (Arabic Speaker) to oversee daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, optimizing sales performance, and maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.

Responsibilities:

Planning & Organizing:

  • Set objectives for the restaurant and review them with the team periodically.
  • Control day-to-day operations by scheduling labor, ordering food and supplies, and developing the restaurant team.
  • Take responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant.
  • Analyze and plan restaurant sales levels and profitability.
  • Prepare reports at the end of shifts/weeks, including staff control, food control, and sales.
  • Create and execute plans for department sales, profit, and staff development.

Sales:

  • Ensure complete and timely execution of corporate & local marketing programs.
  • Develop the local store marketing plan in coordination with the marketing department.
  • Develop home delivery plans, coordinate with the management team to accomplish objectives, and analyze the impact of home delivery as an additional service on sales targets.
  • Achieve the SOS Target.
  • Control driver productivity to meet targets.
  • Set plans for additional services to improve business and maximize sales.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market position in coordination with the marketing department.
  • Develop effective public relations with the community to maximize sales and brand awareness.
  • Ensure proper sales forecasting.
  • Set budgets and coordinate with senior management.
  • Plan and coordinate menus.
  • Manage outlet finances, including petty cash and sales transactions.
  • Control revenues according to budgets and forecasts.

Financial Excellence:

  • Analyze operations and P&L statements to identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain proper stock levels.
  • Coordinate purchasing plans with the stores department to meet restaurant needs.
  • Control profit & loss by following security procedures, managing inventory, labor, and financial reports.

Restaurant Excellence:

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security policies.
  • Coordinate restaurant operations during shifts, managing staff and schedules.
  • Ensure maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Maintain food quality and customer satisfaction, handle complaints, and organize reservations.
  • Create a safe environment for staff and customers.
  • Implement customer satisfaction strategies and maintain high service standards.
  • Train and empower staff to handle customer complaints effectively.
  • Participate in product development and new marketing initiatives.
  • Advise customers on menu choices and orient them accordingly.
  • Build relationships with supporting departments.
  • Work with the Area Manager to determine staff nationality mix.
  • Embed a customer-centric mindset within the team and set an example.
  • Responsible for employee training, orientation, and motivation.
  • Assist with menu development and marketing efforts to stimulate sales growth.
  • Ensure customer waiting times are within standards.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to adapt to a new work environment.
  • Good market knowledge.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; highly self-motivated and capable of motivating others.
