As Restaurant Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind daily operations, team performance, and guest satisfaction. With a strong presence on the floor and a hands-on leadership style, you’ll ensure a high-energy, smooth-running restaurant that delivers exceptional food and a genuine welcome every time.
You’ll work closely with the kitchen team and senior management to uphold standards, boost morale, and support the growth of the brand.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience
- Deliver warm, efficient, and memorable service in line with the brand’s casual-yet-professional tone.
- Be present on the floor during peak hours to engage with guests, resolve issues, and drive energy.
- Ensure tables are turned efficiently while maintaining quality and friendliness.
- Handle feedback and complaints with calmness, care, and speed.
Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and supervise the front-of-house team, including servers, runners, and hosts.
- Foster a strong team spirit focused on accountability, teamwork, and fun.
- Schedule shifts based on peak trading patterns, manage timekeeping and team coverage.
- Encourage upselling and guest engagement through training and incentives.
Operations
- Manage all opening and closing procedures with consistency and attention to detail.
- Oversee cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and maintenance standards throughout the venue.
- Work closely with the Head Chef to coordinate service flow and ensure food delivery standards.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations (e.g., hygiene, labor, and fire safety).
Business Support
- Track daily sales, monitor labor costs, and manage FOH budgets and supply needs.
- Assist in stock management for service items, beverages, uniforms, and disposables.
- Coordinate with suppliers, service providers, and maintenance partners as needed.
- Prepare shift reports, logbooks, and guest feedback summaries.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Restaurant Manager or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and unite a diverse team.
- Passion for hospitality and a deep appreciation for comfort food and community-driven dining.
- Confident managing a fast-paced environment with high-volume service.
- Fluent in English.
- Familiarity with POS systems, basic reporting tools, and reservations platforms.
