Job Description
  • Promote restaurant business and continually increase database contacts
  • Ensure the restaurant ethos aligns with SLS Hotel and Residences Dubai standards are maintained
  • Ensure compliance with all local liquor, health, and sanitation regulations
  • Manage and direct all bar employees during shifts and events
  • Uphold high standards of uniform and grooming among staff
  • Communicate effectively with staff via verbal, email, and memos
  • Monitor department performance against restaurant budgets
  • Maintain proper inventory in line with budgeted costs of sales
  • Organize and seek out events to generate revenue
  • Provide an engaging and dynamic guest experience
  • Monitor quality of service and product delivery
  • Assist with departmental staff scheduling
  • Train staff to uphold service standards
  • Coordinate menu sponsorship deals and product placement
  • Coordinate maintenance with Engineering and Housekeeping departments
  • Interview and select new employees
  • Assess employee performance and provide ongoing feedback
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; College Degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred
  • 2-3 years experience in Food and Beverage operations and senior management
  • Ability to obtain necessary licenses and permits
  • Knowledge of food preparation, health regulations, and liquor laws
  • Experience in upscale or lifestyle brand hotels preferred
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills in English
