About The Job
Based at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi, within the Food & Beverage Department, the Restaurant Manager will assume full responsibility for all operational, administrative, and financial aspects of the designated restaurant, Broadway. The Restaurant Manager reports to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all operational and administrative aspects of the restaurant, prioritizing engagement based on business volume and other parameters.
  • Ensure all operational standards, policies, SOPs, and quality measures are consistently maintained.
  • Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine to plan menus, pricing, and promotional events to maximize revenue in line with market demands.
  • Identify areas for improvement in service and food quality through audits, guest comments, and incident reports; develop action plans with the Chef de Cuisine.
  • Plan effectively for manpower, equipment, and supplies based on business forecasts.
  • Organize promotional activities and festive season events for the outlet.
  • Be fully aware of local laws regarding alcohol service and licensing requirements.
  • Maintain accurate POS setup and conduct regular checks.
  • Monitor monthly P&L statements and analyze financial data regularly.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to restaurant staff.
  • Promote effective inter-departmental communication to foster teamwork and enthusiasm.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum two years of experience in a similar role within a luxury property or resort.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management preferred.
  • Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of sanitation standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
