The candidate we are looking for will perform guest service by greeting guests and seating them promptly. The Hostess always greets guests warmly and arranges seating in an organized manner. The Hostess is expected to be dressed professionally and ready to seat guests at clean, prepared tables. A professional attitude and sincere hospitality are required at all times.

Job Description:

The responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests warmly with a smile and eye contact; escorting them to the dining area; presenting menus; announcing the waiter’s name.
• Using visual cues to seat guests in the bar or dining area based on their preference.
• Informing guests of current promotions and the serving staff to ensure a smooth transition.
• Answering incoming calls and providing appropriate service.
• Managing guest flow into the dining and bar areas; providing accurate wait times when appropriate.
• Tending to special guest needs and requests.
• Maintaining a professional appearance.
• Possessing good command of English and Italian.
• Having proven experience as a Hostess in a hotel or restaurant setting.

Classification:

The remuneration package will be commensurate with experience and will satisfy even highly qualified candidates.
