About the Role

We are now looking for an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our passionate team, oversee daily operations, and continue delivering the exceptional service and vibrant energy that define Lola Taberna.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the restaurant’s overall operations, ensuring smooth daily activities and compliance with Sunset Hospitality Group policies and local regulations.
  • Develop the yearly business plan and budget while monitoring inventory, controlling costs, and maximizing sales and profitability.
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, ensuring cleanliness, proper lighting, and the maintenance of all equipment and machinery.
  • Provide senior management with accurate data and performance reports to support decision-making.
  • Maintain safe working conditions, resolve maintenance issues promptly, and ensure sanitation standards in both kitchen and dining areas.
  • Oversee the renewal of third-party service contracts such as pest control and deep cleaning.
  • Lead the opening of new branches and ensure consistent implementation of company policies and operational flow.
  • Plan staffing requirements, recruit and onboard new hires, and manage scheduling to meet business needs.
  • Train, coach, and motivate employees to achieve departmental targets and encourage professional development.
  • Conduct performance reviews, recommend promotions or salary adjustments, and administer disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Ensure proper grooming and uniform standards for all staff members.
  • Foster a positive work environment that supports employee retention and development.
  • Deliver outstanding guest service, interact with guests to gather feedback, and handle complaints promptly.
  • Implement action plans from guest feedback or mystery diner programs to continually improve service quality.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department to develop advertising and promotional plans that boost restaurant sales.
Qualifications
  • BA degree in Business Administration, or Hospitality Degree from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions in a high-volume, fast-paced Spanish - Latin American concept.
  • Fluent in English language, Spanish is an asset.
