Job description

Job Title: F&B Manager

We are seeking an experienced F&B Manager to oversee the restaurant and bar operations at SLS Dubai Hotel and Residences. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the restaurant business, maintaining high standards of service, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.

  1. Promote the restaurant business and increase database contacts.
  2. Maintain professional relationships with third-party F&B partners.
  3. Ensure the restaurant aligns with SLS standards and maintains its ethos.
  4. Promote compliance with local liquor, health, and sanitation regulations.
  5. Manage and direct all bar staff during shifts and events.
  6. Uphold high standards of uniformity and grooming among staff.
  7. Communicate effectively with staff through various channels.
  8. Monitor departmental performance against budgets.
  9. Control inventory to meet budgeted costs of sales.
  10. Organize events to generate revenue.
  11. Ensure staff deliver engaging and dynamic guest experiences.
  12. Monitor service and product quality continuously.
  13. Assist in staff scheduling and ongoing training.
  14. Coordinate menu sponsorships and product placements.
  15. Coordinate with Engineering and Housekeeping for maintenance and property appearance.
  16. Participate in hiring and performance evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations and senior management.
  • Ability to obtain necessary licenses and permits.
  • Knowledge of food preparation, health regulations, and liquor laws.
  • Experience in upscale or lifestyle hotel environments preferred.
  • Excellent multitasking, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
