Key Responsibilities:
- Greetcustomers warmly and provide prompt, friendly service.
- Takecustomer orders accurately and input them into the POS system.
- Processcash, credit, or debit transactions securely and efficiently.
- Issuereceipts, refunds, or change as needed.
- Answercustomer questions about menu items, specials, or promotions.
- Maintaincleanliness and organization at the cashier station.
- Assistwith seating arrangements or guiding customers to tables.
- Handlecustomer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate whennecessary.
- Balancecash register at the end of each shift and prepare cash deposits.
- Supportother restaurant staff as needed during busy periods.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Previousexperience as a cashier or in customer service preferred.
- Strongarithmetic and basic math skills.
