Job Summary:
Fundamental Hospitality is hiring a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager for an exciting new Japanese Omakase restaurant concept opening in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Japanese, with a strong background in premium dining operations, team leadership, and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations and overall restaurant management.
  2. Ensure exceptional guest service aligned with Japanese omakase traditions and standards.
  3. Lead, train, and inspire a multicultural front-of-house team.
  4. Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and service excellence.
  5. Assist in scheduling, inventory, and cost control measures.
  6. Act as a key liaison between guests, culinary team, and senior management.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in a management role within high-end or Japanese dining.
  2. Fluency in Japanese is mandatory; English is a strong plus.
  3. Deep understanding of Japanese hospitality and omakase service style.
