Job summary

Zulekha Hospital LLC in Dubai seeks a qualified Respiratory Therapist to join our Pulmonology team. The role requires DHA or UAE licensure, sleep study experience, and the ability to educate patients on breathing techniques.

You will work closely with physicians to deliver high-quality pulmonary care in a busy clinical setting. The position emphasizes patient education, teamwork, and accurate testing of pulmonary function and sleep-related assessments within our modern facility in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Must hold DHA or other UAE Healthcare license as Respiratory Therapist.
• Sleep study experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret full pulmonary function tests and lung volumes.
• Conduct sleep studies without supervision.
• Provide chest physiotherapy for outpatients and inpatients.
• Administer the 6 Minute Walk Test.
• Educate patients on broncho-pulmonary drainage and breathing exercises.
• Administer nebulization for asthma patients.
• Demonstrate incentive spirometry.
• Assist pulmonologist with department needs.
• Manage all assigned responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Full Pulmonary Function Test and Lung Volume
• Conduct Sleep Study without supervision
• Chest Physiotherapy outpatient and inpatient
• 6 Minute Walk Test
• Performs and teach the patient about broncho-pulmonary drainage and breathing exercise
• Administration of Nebulization for Asthma patient
• Demonstrate Incentive Spirometry
• Assist the Pulmonologist for all necessary requirements in the department
