Job summary

AECOM in Abu Dhabi seeks a Resident Engineer – Wet Services to oversee the design, installation and maintenance of plumbing, drainage and fire protection systems across project sites in the UAE.

You will lead technical reviews, coordinate with architects and contractors, perform site inspections, prepare reports and drawings, mentor junior engineers, and drive safe, sustainable solutions while complying with local codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review wet services designs, including plumbing, drainage, and fire protection.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building codes and standards.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other disciplines.
• Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress.
• Troubleshoot technical issues on construction sites.
• Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and drawings.
