Job summary

Canon Middle East FZ LLC, the regional HQ for Canon in the Middle East, seeks a Resident Engineer in Abu Dhabi to maintain and optimize hardware, firmware, and related applications with remote support tools. You will troubleshoot, inventory optimization, and contribute to service performance.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree or diploma, GCC driving license, and strong fault-finding and customer-communication skills. Hybrid work model and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Engineering Degree or Diploma in electronics, mechanics or software; relevant service experience preferred.
Good fault-finding skills and ability to troubleshoot customer issues.
Strong communication with customers and cross-functional teams; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

Provide first-line troubleshooting for Portfolio products to achieve high first-time fix rate.
Report labor/parts investment using CAESAR coding structure.
Optimize stock inventory and balance against RTB/RTF needs.
Identify commercial opportunities and report to sales/marketing.
Train and brief super-users on Canon products and drivers.
