Qualifications:

• BSc or BE in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Degree must be certified by the Ministry of Higher Education prior to employment.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in 400kV, 220/33kV TRANSCO/TAQA Power projects, including design review, site supervision, and testing & commissioning, preferably with a consultant.
• Experience in successfully completing similar projects.
• Previous TRANSCO Competency Certificate as Resident Engineer-Electrical is an advantage.

Field of Experience:

• Power station systems, transformers, switchgears, protection systems, telecommunication systems, cabling, testing, and commissioning.
• Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Office).
• Familiarity with international standards and TRANSCO/TAQA specifications.
• Understanding of HSE practices and hazard awareness.

Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, supervise installation and commissioning, and ensure compliance with contract requirements and quality standards.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, Quantity Surveyors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and address non-conformances promptly.
• Ensure safety and proper permit procedures are followed on site.
