Job summary

Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) invites applications for a Reservoir Engineer who supports reservoir management and field development through integrated subsurface analysis. You will evaluate reservoir behaviour, production and well performance, and develop models to maximise recovery and optimise field performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum/Reservoir Engineering or related field, 3–5 years of relevant upstream experience; a Master's degree is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, Geoscience, or a related engineering discipline.
• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is an advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in reservoir engineering, field development, reservoir management, or production optimization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reservoir surveillance and performance monitoring using production, pressure, and fluid data.
• Build and maintain reservoir engineering models by integrating geological models with production datasets.
• Perform production forecasting, reserves estimation, material balance, DCA, and PTA.
• Provide reservoir engineering input to field development concepts, depletion strategies, and drilling/infill opportunities.
• Recommend production enhancement initiatives to maximise recovery and extend asset life.
