We have an exciting opportunity for you as Reservations Supervisor to join our enthusiastic team at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina.

As a Reservations Supervisor, you are responsible for ensuring that the reservations team achieves or exceeds monthly sales targets. You will also ensure that our guests enjoy exceptional customer service and memorable experiences when visiting our properties, which will include key responsibilities such as:

  • Act as a main resource for reservation agents needing assistance technically or with regards to achieving customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure reservation department and Front Office team are constantly aware of availability states open, on request, closed dates, high demand dates etc.
  • Respond to all guest reservation requests and execute prompt, courteous and accurate guest service at all times.
  • Be fully knowledgeable about hotel guest rooms, rates, promotions, amenities, programs, hotel facilities and services.
  • Maintain department approved quality assurance program to include, but not limited to, rates, deposits property descriptions, activity tables and reservations letters.
  • Manage reservation function to maintain the highest possible room occupancy and average daily rate through suggestive selling and recommendations from external yield or revenue management systems e.g. Ideas.
  • Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, assign duties and expedite work flow for reservation agents.
  • Manage all aspects of reservation department in the absence of revenue & reservation manager.

The ideal candidate must have 3 to 5 years of progressive work-related experience in the same role in a 5* city hotel in Dubai and have strong capabilities in handling technicality of revenue generating mediums & organizing, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure of deadlines and ever-shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations. Also, must be a team player, have strong interpersonal skills, and work well independently as well as part of a team, flexible attitude and ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
