About the job

Based at the hotel within the Room Reservations Team, the Reservations Sales Agent manages all reservation communications to ensure efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities include:
  • Processing and confirming guest reservations, identifying guest needs.
  • Verifying room availability and explaining policies.
  • Accommodating special requests and providing property information.
  • Using sales techniques to maximize revenue and inputting reservations into the system.
  • Staying updated on hotel promotions and procedures.
  • Maintaining product knowledge and applying rate management.
  • Organizing visa requests and up-selling when appropriate.
  • Handling requests promptly and ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Supporting customer loyalty and brand standards through service excellence.
  • Monitoring customer satisfaction and resolving issues.
  • Building strong relationships with guests and colleagues.
  • Handling complaints and fostering positive employee relations.
  • Communicating effectively with other departments.
  • Maintaining accurate system records and participating in meetings and site visits.
Candidate requirements:
  • Ability to understand and meet guest needs with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Friendly personality with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a minimum of 1-year experience in hospitality sales or reservations.
  • Experience in a 5-star hotel environment, preferably in the GCC region.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and PMS systems.
  • Educational qualifications: Senior School or higher, with a degree or diploma in Hospitality, Hotel, or Business Management.
