Job Description

You will assist in the effective operation of the Reservations Department, to meet the business goals of the hotel, according to instructions given by the Revenue Director. You will manage incoming reservation requests in order to avoid a back log, ensure daily trace reports/follow up systems are being used effectively and maintain effective office administrative procedures within the department to-detect-and-safeguard against double-bookings, non-guaranteed bookings, filing errors and other inaccuracies. You will alsoensure the smooth running of the hotel telephone system, handling all incoming and outgoing calls efficiently as per hotel standard, and provide professional and customer focused response to guests, adding value to maketheir stay memorable.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year experience with Hotel Reservations or Rooms Division
  • Working knowledge of hotel operations' available technology (PMS & RMS)
  • Understands the dynamics of regional & local markets, and all distribution channels.
  • Communicates and writes with fluency in English, additional language/s is an advantage
  • Keen attention to detail and able to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to organize work flow and adapt to changing priorities
  • Dynamic, self motivated and customer-focused
