Job description

Reservation Agent will assist in achieving budgeted room nights and occupancy targets as identified in the annual budget and marketing plan for the group tour series.

What will I be doing

The Reservation Agent will support the coordination and administration of all group tour bookings according to the group reservations procedure. Responsibilities include:

• Adhering to the events and group yield policy to maximize revenue
• Collaborating with the Sales and Events Team to maximize corporate and group rates
• Managing third-party sites and agents to establish rates, negotiate prices, and ensure proper reservation procedures to meet departmental targets
• Understanding the competitive marketplace and implementing strategies to keep the hotel ahead in the local market
• Developing team members and fostering a culture of high standards in relationship building, customer service, selling techniques, and contract processing
• Building strong relationships with guests and team members to understand and serve their needs effectively
• Assisting in recruiting, managing, training, and developing the team
• Participating in hotel promotional activities
