Qualifications

• : Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English or related field.
• : More than 3 years of professional writing experience in agency, newsroom, nonprofit, or university setting.
• : Excellent command of written English with strong grammar and storytelling skills.
• : Translate complex ideas into accessible language.
• : Familiarity with digital publishing platforms (CMS, social media schedulers) is an advantage.
• : Proactive with multiple assignments and deadlines.
• : Understanding of higher education and research environment is a plus.
• : Arabic language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex research findings into clear, engaging content for broad audiences.
• Verify claims and terminology with researchers before publication.
• Write news stories, features, social captions, video scripts, web copy, and newsletters.
• Identify opportunities to showcase faculty, students, staff, and alumni research.
• Collaborate with faculty, researchers, and students to develop accurate content.
• Brainstorm multimedia angles to elevate research stories.
• Adapt tone and detail to audience and channel; meet deadlines.
• Support editorial planning and content reporting.
