Job summary

TestHiring in Dubai is seeking a senior accounting professional to lead daily accounting operations, reconcile accounts, and drive the month-end close process. You will ensure IFRS compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax, and support statutory audits with precise financial documentation.

You will mentor a team of accounting professionals, optimize ERP usage (Tally ERP, Microsoft Dynamics), and provide in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decisions while maintaining data integrity

Qualifications

• 5 years total experience with at least 3 years in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT and Corporate Tax laws.
• Experience in accounts finalization and support during statutory audits.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP is required; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics ERP is a strong advantage.
• MS Excel and other accounting software/tools proficiency.

Job description

Requirements

• Must have a total of 5 years of overall experience including a minimum of 3 years of proven accounting experience in the UAE.
  
• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards as well as a clear understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax laws.
  
• Demonstrated expertise in accounts finalization and support during statutory audits.
  
• Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
  
• Proficiency in Tally ERP is required; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics ERP is a strong advantage.
  
• Skilled in MS Excel and other accounting software/tools.
  
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  
• Prior experience in the marine industry will be considered an added advantage.
