Job description
Overview

JOB PURPOSE: To Support Chief Representative (CR) by tracking, investigating, and reporting deals and client's information, intermediating with the Head Office.

Key Accountabilities
  • Maintain client and deals database by inputting all necessary information
  • Assist CR in implementing the strategic plan for business development and origination of deals
  • Contact prospective clients to understand their east -west corridor trade finance need and propose solutions directly and through local banks on the key client list
  • Updated CR BU consolidating, analysing and forwarding daily action summaries
  • Resolves deals pending issues or problems by investigating data and history, and notifying CR, HO counterparties and customers
  • Provides products, quotes, and pricing information by clarifying customer request; selecting appropriate information, forwarding information; answering questions
  • Provide actual vs projected results by preparing and forwarding deal tracking reports and any other reports requested by HO
  • Maintains customer database by inputting customer profile and updated, preparing and distributing monthly reports
  • Prepares deals proposals and presentations by compiling and analysing data, developing presentation formats and materials
  • Updated job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
  • Accomplishes department and organization mission by completing related results as needed
Qualifications
  • Good local and regional knowledge
  • BA/BS degree in related fields (Economics, Finance or Accounting); MBA or CFA is highly preferred
  • Familiar with banking industry practices, guidelines and code of conduct
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to operate effectively within a global firm, balancing independence with strong stakeholder communication and a solid control environment
  • Strong Excel and technology skills
  • Strong data analytical skills and comfortable with voluminous data
  • Work well under pressure with ability to meet tight timelines
  • Comfortable interacting with people from different culture and background
