Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of proven experience with rotating equipment and turbo machinery maintenance.
• Solid experience with GAS equipment such as centrifugal compressors and turbo expanders.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of the repair center supervisor to understand the GAS repairs business and perform assigned hands-on tasks.
• Keep track of all workshop-related documents, reports, tool lists, calibration certificates, etc.
• Follow quality standards and coordinate with vendors for outsourced activities.
• Liaise with external repair vendors.
• Complete workshop repairs and overhauls as per work orders.

ACSME Gas & Process Aftermarket is responsible for providing support to all our customers in the MENA Region and Africa.

We currently have an opening for a Repair Center Engineer covering our valuable customers in MEA and Pakistan.

In this exciting and challenging role, you will be part of a dynamic service team dedicated to providing world-class customer service. Your primary responsibility will be delivering top-quality repairs promptly to meet customer requirements for Aftermarket repairs.

Responsibilities :

• Work under the supervision of the repair center supervisor to understand the GAS repairs business and perform assigned hands-on tasks.
• Keep track of all workshop-related documents, reports, tool lists, calibration certificates, etc.
• Follow quality standards and coordinate with vendors for outsourced activities.
• Liaise with external repair vendors.
• Complete workshop repairs and overhauls as per work orders.
• Coordinate repair schedules with the service planner.
• Provide timely and accurate feedback on work progress to the supervisor.
• Compile risk assessments and method statements as requested by the customer.
• Submit comprehensive repair reports promptly after task completion.
• Support repair reports with documents, updated drawings, clearance tables, etc.
• Carry out Electrical and Mechanical Run Outs.
• Report and record all repairs in CRM.
• Comply with ISO quality standards and Atlas Copco safety and environmental policies.
• Perform duties according to Atlas Copco standards, understanding customer needs.
• Take necessary actions to complete tasks timely and maintain communication with relevant personnel.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Work at customer sites for overhauls and troubleshooting as needed.

To succeed, you will need

Experience requirements

• Mechanical, electrical/electronic, or instrumentation & controls degree or relevant technical qualifications.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of proven experience with rotating equipment and turbo machinery maintenance.
• Solid experience with GAS equipment such as centrifugal compressors and turbo expanders.
• Proven track record of delivering excellent results.

Knowledge

• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of CRM platforms.

Educational requirements

• BS/BE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
