Job Description

The Rental Car Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the sales operations of a car rental company, ensuring revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and efficient fleet management. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a team of sales representatives, and maintaining relationships with corporate clients and partners. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proven track record in sales, and an in-depth understanding of the car rental industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to increase rental car bookings and revenue.
  2. Manage and lead a team of sales executives, providing training and performance evaluations.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and business partners.
  4. Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer preferences to optimize rental offerings.
  5. Oversee the rental fleet, ensuring availability and proper vehicle maintenance.
  6. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure long-term business.
  7. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on sales performance.
  8. Implement customer service initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  9. Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional campaigns and offers.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered.
  2. Proven experience in car rental sales or automotive sales management.
  3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities.
  5. Knowledge of fleet management and car rental operations.
  6. Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to drive decision-making.
  7. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  8. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
  9. Valid UAE driving license preferred.
