Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology seeks a Strategic Project Lead for PCB and Embedded AI platforms. This remote, full-time role oversees hardware projects from concept to production, coordinating cross-functional teams of hardware engineers, firmware developers, and manufacturing partners.

You will define scope, timelines, and resources, drive risk mitigation, and report progress to executives. Strong leadership and hands-on PCB/embedded design expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electrical/computer engineering.
• 7+ years in PCB design and embedded systems, with 3+ years in leadership roles.
• Proficiency with PCB design tools: Altium, KiCad, Cadence Allegro.
• Embedded firmware development in C/C++ with debugging via JTAG/logic analyzers.
• Knowledge of IPC-2221, IPC-A-610 and UL certification processes.
• Strong SI/PI and thermal management within PCB layouts.
• Experience with Git and hardware documentation tools (Confluence, Jira).
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, DFM, and supply chain coordination.
• Ability to assess risks and balance cost/schedule/performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute PCB and embedded system project plans.
• Lead collaboration between hardware, firmware, and vendors to deliver prototypes within budget.
• Manage PCB reviews, signal integrity, and component selection.
• Establish KPIs for progress, risk, and quality.
• Present updates to stakeholders to secure approvals and resources.
