Job summary

Deel is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Production Sandbox Reliability team. You’ll safeguard enterprise sandboxes, work with a globally distributed group, and act as the operational guardian for environments.

This role targets candidates with 4+ years in SRE/DevOps, hands-on Kubernetes, AWS, Node.js or Go, and strong communication. It is fully remote with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
• Experience with Node.js or Go.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services (EKS, S3, RDS).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including Helm and ArgoCD.
• Experience with observability stacks: Datadog, Grafana, Mimir, Loki, Tempo, Zabbix.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills – able to interface effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-starter mindset with an eye for operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain reliability: Ensure high availability, uptime and stability across services.
• Roll out updates to microservices to align with latest versions.
• Triage alerts and escalate incidents with clear context to engineering teams.
• Enhance observability with metrics, logs and tracing coverage.
• Contribute to post-incident reviews and drive actionable improvements.
• Communicate updates during incidents, maintenance and upgrades.
• Participate in on-call rotation across time zones.
