Job summary

Sana Commerce in Dubai seeks an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) leader to drive reliability, scale cloud infrastructure, and guide a growing team.

You will design and enforce SRE practices, collaborate across engineering, and mentor engineers while implementing automation and monitoring to reduce toil.

Remote work is not offered; full-time role with Azure, Kubernetes, and IaC tooling experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in Site Reliability Engineering with 2+ years in leadership/management.
• Hands-on Azure design, deployment and management of cloud-native infra; Kubernetes experience required.
• Deep understanding of networks, load balancing and high availability configurations.
• Programming languages such as PowerShell, C#, Python, Go or Java.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Proficiency in monitoring/logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK; Dynatrace is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership abilities; strong cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SRE team, set objectives, and guide toward high reliability while balancing cost and SLAs.
• Collaborate with platform and product engineering to embed reliability in the SDLC.
• Develop and implement SRE policies including SLOs, SLIs and error budgets.
• Drive automation across operations to reduce toil and improve performance and scalability.
• Oversee incident management, post-mortems and root-cause analyses to prevent outages.
• Facilitate capacity planning and scalability exercises to support growth.
• Lead disaster recovery planning and testing for business continuity.
• Mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stay current with SRE trends and advocate adoption of best practices.
