Job summary

Remotedxb in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced QA automation engineer to write, maintain and expand Playwright test suites for iOS and Android driver apps. You will run structured test plans, perform regression testing and work with developers and product managers to ensure coverage.

The role focuses on diagnosing flaky tests, executing parallelized suites with BrowserStack and GitHub Actions, and reporting results in TestRail.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in QA/test automation.
• Hands‑on experience testing native mobile applications on iOS and Android.
• Experience with Playwright and TestRail and managing tests across parallelized suites.
• Knowledge of TestFlight and parallel test execution platforms.
• Ability to align with the team during morning ET sync.
• Experience with AI-powered automation tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write, maintain, and rewrite Playwright test suites for iOS and Android driver apps.
• Execute structured test plans and perform regression testing.
• Diagnose flaky tests and distinguish engineering defects from execution issues.
• Run and maintain parallelized test suites via BrowserStack and GitHub Actions.
• Report results in TestRail and track software defects.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure coverage.
• Explore and implement AI-powered testing tools.
