Job summary

Metabase is seeking a frontend engineer to craft delightful user experiences with responsive interfaces and robust performance. You will work on large, complex JavaScript projects, integrating new features, and iterating with design systems to deliver high-quality visuals.

You will write tests, review code, and collaborate in a remote-first environment, communicating clearly through documentation. Strong React/Redux and CSS skills are essential, with interest in data visualization libraries

Qualifications

• Prior experience shipping non-trivial apps using React and Redux.
• Strong JavaScript and React knowledge.
• Proficiency in CSS and familiarity with design systems or component libraries.
• Experience with testing and code reviews.
• Ability to work effectively in an asynchronous, remote-first environment.
• Strong communication and clarity in written documentation.
