Job summary

SALEH AL-MUTAIRI | مسؤول توظيف is seeking a part-time, remote Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to oversee the organization’s risk management framework and ensure key risks are identified and managed effectively. You will analyze enterprise-wide risk exposures, review risk reports, and develop policies that support sound governance.

The role requires strong ERM, credit and market risk expertise, and an ability to operate independently in a remote setting while collaborating with finance and leadership

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Enterprise Risk Management and risk frameworks.
• Proficiency in Credit Risk Management including assessment of counterparties and exposure limits.
• Experience with Market Risk and understanding of volatility, pricing and instruments.
• Finance background with ability to interpret financial statements and link risk to performance.
• Advanced analytical skills including quantitative analysis and risk modeling.
• Senior risk leadership experience in financial services or related sector.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management to present risk issues to non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field; master’s or certifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee risk management framework across the organization.
• Review risk reports and develop risk policies and procedures.
• Analyze enterprise-wide risk exposures and recommend mitigations.
• Evaluate credit and market risk and align risk strategies with business objectives.
• Collaborate with finance and leadership teams on risk governance.
• Monitor regulatory and market developments and adjust risk posture.
• Prepare executive-level risk summaries and promote a risk-aware culture.
