Job summary

Remotedxb seeks a remote Mortgage Operations Specialist to guide the customer from application to funding. You will assemble documentation for underwriting, manage a busy pipeline, and ensure compliance with Patriot Act requirements and disclosure standards. The role requires accuracy, speed, and clear communication.

Experience in mortgage processing and remote work is essential; a high school diploma is required. The team operates fully remotely, with startup pace and collaborative stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in mortgage operations or processing.
• Proficiency with Encompass, Blend, or Google Suite.
• Proven success working in 100% remote environments.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the customer journey from application to funding.
• Gather required documentation for loan processing and underwriting.
• Manage a pipeline of 50-60 loan closings per month.
• Complete Patriot Act requirements based on customer ID.
• Ensure minimum submission requirements are met prior to processing.
• Issue initial disclosures and revised Loan Estimates compliantly.
• Assist with condo approval requirements and document review.
• Respond to internal stakeholders and external customer needs promptly.
