Job summary

RenoFi is seeking an experienced mortgage processor to own loan files from submission through closing, ensuring accuracy and speed. You will review new submissions, verify income and documents, and communicate proactively with borrowers and lenders. Manage a busy pipeline, maintain LOS notes, and contribute to workflow improvements.

The role requires 3+ years of mortgage processing experience and knowledge of various loan products. Strong communication and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of mortgage processing experience.
• Strong knowledge of Agency, Non-QM, Portfolio, FHA, VA, and renovation loan products.
• Familiarity with loan origination systems.
• Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Willingness to communicate via telephone with customers.

Responsibilities

• Own loan files from submission through closing, ensuring accuracy and speed.
• Review new loan submissions for completeness and required documentation.
• Communicate proactively via telephone with borrowers, loan officers, investors, and contractors.
• Prepare files for underwriting by verifying income, assets, liabilities, credit, and property documentation.
• Manage an active pipeline, tracking milestones and meeting timelines.
• Identify potential issues early to prevent delays.
• Maintain detailed notes and updates in the Loan Origination System (LOS).
• Support continuous improvement of systems and workflows.
