Job summary

Simone’s Tutoring is seeking an experienced Modern Mathematics Tutor to support upper-secondary students preparing for Malaysian SPM Mathematics and O-Level Mathematics. The role involves delivering personalised lessons online or at students’ homes, with commitments to exam technique and progression across Cambridge/Edexcel pathways.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or closely related field in Mathematics or related subject.
MOHRE Tutor Permit or eligibility to obtain.
Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching upper-secondary Mathematics.
Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assess students’ knowledge, gaps, and readiness; set targets.
Deliver Form 4–5 Mathematics tuition and prepare for SPM/O-Level exams.
Teach topics including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, stats, and matrices.
Provide feedback, monitor progress, and communicate with parents.
