Job summary

Ethos is offering a flexible, remote engagement for an IT compliance manager with 5+ years in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance. You will help train AI models on professional documents, spreadsheets and slides, focusing on SOC 2 and ISO 27001 readiness.

The role is fully remote with a starting date ASAP, offering $90/hour and a commitment of 5-20 hours per week (or more). Your work will support governance, risk, and compliance tasks across multiple workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity GRC, IT audit, or information security compliance with direct ownership of SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST work.
• Hands-on experience writing or reviewing risk assessments, control matrices, and vendor security questionnaires.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows.
• Contribute to SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audit readiness documentation and policy mapping documents.
• Assist in security risk assessments and vendor security questionnaires across frameworks.
