Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology is seeking a Dental Assistant / Clinic Coordinator for a remote, part-time role in the UAE. The position focuses on supporting clinicians, coordinating patient appointments, and handling clinic administration with emphasis on confidentiality and service quality.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of dental experience, solid knowledge of infection control, and strong organizational and communication skills to manage busy clinic operations and patient interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in dental assisting or healthcare admin preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in dental assisting or clinic coordination preferred.
• Practical understanding of dental procedures and infection control.
• Excellent communication and professional patient-focused approach.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support dentists and clinical staff during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and supplies.
• Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and post-treatment instructions.
• Follow infection-control, sterilization, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate patient appointments and follow-up visits.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Communicate appointment schedules and non-clinical inquiries.
• Coordinate schedules among dentists, hygienists, labs, and patients.
• Support dental laboratory coordination and material handling.
• Monitor supplies and inventory; report replenishment needs.
• Assist with billing and insurance documentation where applicable.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and data protection compliance.
• Use practice-management systems and EHR/EMR platforms.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and clinic organization.
• Prepare reports and documentation for clinic operations.
• Coordinate with reception, finance, procurement, and labs.
• Identify opportunities to improve patient flow and experience.
