Job summary

Paires is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to own the conversation layer of our AI-first fundraising platform. You will ensure every reply is timely, dialed-in, and in step with our agents that move conversations toward booked meetings across warm outreach and investor relations.

You will build end-to-end conversational agents, from reply to booking and nurture, and extend applied-AI features across the platform.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping production-grade conversational AI systems.
• Familiarity with evaluation pipelines and guardrails for live chats.
• Experience integrating AI agents with email/CRM/messaging platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end conversational layer: replies, booking, nurturing, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Design and implement the eval spine with golden sets and judging criteria.
• Develop broader applied-AI features: classification, extraction, routing, summarization.
• Collaborate across teams to ship production-ready AI agents that handle real-user conversations.
