Job summary

Udacity, now an Accenture company, is seeking a Community Moderator (External Contractor) to help oversee its UAE scholarship communities. This remote role requires daily forum monitoring and a proactive, student-focused approach to support learners and maintain a healthy, engaging online environment.

As part of a global team, you will report issues, organize content, and assist the Community Manager with engagement strategies.

Qualifications

• Must reside in UAE and be available for part-time external contractor work.
• Experience with online communities and moderation tools is required.
• Reliable internet connection and strong multitasking skills.
• Willing to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Familiarity with Udacity's services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Providing students with non-technical support within the community.
• Organizing and maintaining the online platform by handling violation posts and supporting the Community Manager with performance summaries.
• Supporting forum activities and brainstorming with the Community Manager to increase engagement.
• Attending regular online meetings with Udacity representatives.
• Being responsive in group discussions with Udacity representatives.
• Ensuring all members have a fun and engaging learning environment.
