Job summary

Arcus Search seeks C++ Engineers (Senior and Mid-Level) for a remote role with relocation to Dubai. You will join a fast-growing proprietary trading firm working on low-latency market connectivity and high-performance systems.

Responsibilities include designing market connectivity solutions, building high-load C++ apps, reducing latency, and enhancing core infrastructure. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in commercial C++ and strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and networking.

Qualifications

• Essential 3+ years of commercial software development experience with modern C++.
• Experience building or maintaining high-load or low-latency systems (HFT).
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures and software design patterns.
• Good knowledge of networking fundamentals, including REST APIs and WebSockets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing new market connectivity solutions.
• Developing and maintaining high-load, low-latency C++ applications.
• Identifying opportunities to reduce latency and improve system performance.
• Enhancing the reliability, stability, and scalability of core infrastructure.
• Troubleshooting complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborating across teams to deliver new functionality and platform improvements.
