Job summary

Dizzaract in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale the backend services powering FAR Labs products and platforms. You will own APIs, data stores, and production infrastructure, partnering with AI, infrastructure, frontend, and product teams.

You will work with Go, TypeScript/Node.js, and Python, shaping architecture, ensuring reliability, security, and performance under load.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture, APIs and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with REST and/or gRPC APIs.
• Experience with Docker and AWS-based production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production backend services using Go and Node.js/Python where appropriate.
• Own backend features from architecture through testing, deployment, and production support.
• Design systems that remain maintainable, reliable, and scalable with traffic growth.
• Identify technical debt and performance bottlenecks and address them proactively.
• Collaborate with AI, infrastructure, frontend, and product teams to deliver reliable systems.
