Job summary

SOFITEL in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, seeks an experienced Engineering Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance operations and ensure equipment reliability. You will develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, analyze performance data, and drive continuous improvement across the team.

Responsibilities include budgeting, safety compliance, coordinating with external providers, and developing staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in maintenance management or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or industrial equipment systems.
• Proven experience in team leadership, staff management, and performance evaluation.
• Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and maintenance planning software.
• Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations, compliance standards, and risk management practices.
• Experience in budget management, cost control, and resource allocation.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across organizational levels.
• Experience in the United Arab Emirates or Middle Eastern industrial environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee maintenance operations to ensure optimal equipment performance and safety compliance.
• Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and optimize processes.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and allocate resources effectively.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for parts and maintenance support.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and risk management practices.
• Lead, supervise, and develop maintenance staff for continuous improvement.
• Prepare detailed maintenance reports and recommendations for senior management.
