Job Description
Role: Relationship Officer
Purpose: Develop strong relationships with key contacts in targeted sectors/segments to source payroll salaried accounts and cross-sell asset products such as Covered Cards and Personal Finances, in line with ADIB policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Source payroll accounts from targeted sectors/segments and meet or exceed monthly targets.
- Cross-sell and source Covered Cards products and Personal Finance products from targeted sectors/segments, achieving or exceeding assigned targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers' HR, Finance, and Admin departments within government entities, multinationals, large and medium corporates, new establishments, and Free Zones.
- Conduct marketing, kiosk, and onboarding sessions within targeted employers to promote ADIB products and services.
- Participate in activities assigned by management.
- Maintain full knowledge of product policies and procedures, ensuring swift implementation.
- Visit potential employers/clients to finalize business deals within the designated turnaround time, adhering to ADIB policies.
- Ensure comprehensive knowledge of assigned products and full adherence to processes.
- Provide prompt and quality customer service.
- Follow office timings, uphold secrecy norms, and maintain confidentiality of data.
- Prepare and review Standard Credit Applications, verifying the accuracy and authenticity of critical documents such as bank statements, passports, EID, and salary certificates before submission.
- Follow approval processes and escalate delays to superiors as needed.
- Process product applications, prepare files according to checklists, and share with coordinators within 24 hours of customer signing.
- Ensure application quality and rectify errors or omissions.
- Monitor file activation and notify management of delays at the Card Centre.
- Maintain good inter-departmental rapport to ensure smooth business flow.
- Initiate cross-selling of other banking products on a best-efforts basis.
- Escalate customer complaints to management.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Experience in multi-products sales, payroll, or employee banking.
- Good knowledge of retail banking standards, sales skills, and computer literacy.
- Awareness of competitors in the local/regional market.
- Valid driving license.
