Role

Relationship officer

Role Purpose

Develop strong relationship with key contacts in targeted sectors / segments to source payroll salaried accounts, cross sell assets products (i.e. Covered Cards and Personal Finances) aligned with ADIB policies and procedures.

Key Accountabilities
  • To source payroll accounts from targeted sectors / segment and achieve or exceed the assigned monthly target.
  • Cross sell and source Covered Cards products from targeted sectors / segment and achieve or exceed the assigned target.
  • Cross sell and source Personal Finance products from targeted sectors / segment and achieve or exceed the assigned target.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationship with respective employers HR / Finance / Admin within targeted government entities, multi nationals and well know large and medium corporates in addition to new establishments and Free Zones.
  • Conduct marketing / kiosk / onboarding sessions activities within targeted employer to market ADIB products and services
  • Participate and complete activities assigned by management.
  • Full awareness on product policies, and procedures and ensure swift implementation.
  • Visit potential employers / clients to finalize business deals within targeted turnaround time based on ADIB policy and procedure.
  • Full awareness on assigned products in term of knowledge / process and ensure full adherence.
  • Deliver a timely prompt service to customers.
  • Adhere with stipulated office timing, follow strictly, secrecy norms and maintain data confidentiality.
  • Prepare and review Standard Credit Application and ensure all information provided are accurate and ensure authenticity of critical documents (copies of Bank Statement, Passport, EID, Salary certificate / Salary Transfer Letter) prior sending to the respective unit coordinator for processing.
  • Follow the approval process and escalate the delay to superiors if any.
  • Execute & process the above-mentioned products lines representing ADIB, prepare files as per check list, share physical files with coordinators within 24 hours of completing the signing formalities with customer.
  • To ensure quality of applications submitted and rectify error / omission if any.
  • Check the file activation and notify management in case of delay at Card centre end.
  • Maintain good rapport within ADIB (inter-department / peers) to ensure smooth business flow.
  • Initiate cross-sell other banking products (on best efforts basis).
  • Escalate customer complaints to management if any
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge
  • Multi-products sales, payroll or employee banking experience.
  • Good knowledge of retail banking service standards, sales skills and computer skills
  • General awareness of competitors in local / regional market
  • Driving License
